Text Box: The Jay Cee Big Band Musical Direction TONY SHEPPARD Band manager John Jones Formed in the 1960’s as The MU big band (supported by the Musicians Union) Later revived by trombonist John Chamberlain (Jay Cee). Sadly, John died a couple of years ago . He left an eclectic mix of hundreds of arrangements which the present band is working its way through. ! This is serious big band playing. The musicians travel long distances to make the rehearsals.
