Jay Cee Big Band ..mainly a rehearsal band for serious big band musicians wishing to play more unusual and difficult arrangements...not the usual big band Standards! Occasional concerts.

About Tony Sheppard and Glosjazz
Tony plays Keyboards, Vocals and Trombone with Ain't Misbehavin' Jazz Duo, and is Musical director for the Crescendo Big Band, The Big Swing Band and the Jay Cee Big Band.
He was Musical Director for Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra (GYJO) for 24 years, and Head of Brass tuition for Gloucestershire Music Service.
Cheltenham International Jazz Festival accessed Tony's years of experience as a professional musician and educator for their much acclaimed 2005 'ON THE SLIDE' trombone project. For this, Tony worked closely with the Jazz trombonist Dennis Rollins.
Over 40 students aged 11-16 learned to play the trombone 'from scratch', performing with Dennis and Tony in the 2005 Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
